Happy Holidays

It's that magical time of the year again.  Time for all of us to let the little child come out in us and remember Christmas' past.  But, lets not forget the true meaning of the Christmas season, Let's keep Christ into Christmas.

Thanksgiving 2011

We went to Arizona this year for Thanksgiving and the weather was beautiful.  We had a wonderful time with family and all of the visiting we were able to accomplish.  We even ventured out on black friday to take in the Arizona malls, it was great.  We have such a good time getting together once a year and catch up on all of the family news.  We will be meeting in LaVerkin next year and will have a great time.

This is the Romney clan and we had almost all members present.  We welcome Greg home from his mission and Mike was able to make it with his new bride.  Our family is growing and we are so excited.

It's that time of year again.  Halloween and above are two of the cutest Buzz Lightyear and Tinker Bell I have ever seen.  I enjoy watching children get ready for the Halloween festivities, but never really liked going trick or treating.  I am a bore, I'd rather give out the treats and enjoy everyones costumes.  Happy Halloween to all.

October is here YIKES

Were does the year go, we all keep so busy that it seems to fly.  Why do we let our lives get hectic, the older we get we should be able to relax more, but that is not the case.  We still work, have chores around the house, family to love, and service to give.  We are entering the season to enjoy so as we prepare for the fun time of Halloween, the family gathering of Thanksgiving, and then the wonderful Christmas season let us all remember what each means.  Keep the spirit of the Lord with you throughout the remainder of the year and always.

September 11

It has been 10 years since the United States was attacked, let us remember all those people who lost their lives on that tragic day.  God be with them

One of the things we did on our vacation back to Kentucky was to go to Kings Island, we had a blast and it brought back so many memories of me growing up and going to the amusement park each year.  The rides, shows and attractions are so amazing.

Then we had a family cookout on the boat dock in Augusta, it was great seeing the family that could make it and talking about the family.  I hope we can do this again next year. 

One more week

On August 8th Jen and I will be going to Kentucky to visit family and have a little r&r.  Kyle unfortuantely will have to work, we will miss him. I am really excited because we have been working hard at the office learning a new program, trying to get all the data ready for migration to the new system and have the data ready to ship back to Washington DC in case something goes wrong.  I really need this break.  I will post pictures and an update when we get back.

30 Years

I am a little late posting this but this year Kyle and I have been married 30 years, it doesn't seem possible.  July 10th 1981 we started our eternal family and have had ups & downs, but we are happy. 

July 4 2011

We were able to go to La Verkin over the long weekend and it was fun.  Even though Baylee had to go with her dad this year we still had a blast with the family.  I love it when we can get away from the big city and travel to where live seems to be slower than we are use too.  Here are some pictures of the 4th. 

The father's that are or have been in my life.  I want to pay a tribute to my wonderful husband who is a great father to our 2 children and grandfather to our 3 grandcildren.  He would do anything for them and shows he loves them everyday.  Then my father in law who is no longer with us, but was a very supportive and loving man who I am a better person for knowing.  Then last but not least my dad, he has been gone since 1987 and I miss him very much, he would constantly tease the grandchildren and build them things.  He worked hard every day of his life to provide for his family and taught us how to work and become good people.  Thanks to all of you for touching my life.  I love you all.

Summer has arrived

We have had interest weather it has been cool for this time of year, but that is a good thing with all the snow still in the mountains.  In fact a ski resort opened yesterday after closing and plan on staying open until the snow goes away.  It will start getting in the 80's this week, so we put the air conditioners in our window and now are ready for anything.  Our family has been truly blessed with health, strength and love for one another we are happy.  Happy Sabbath Day everyone.

Memorial Day 2011

What a busy weekend we went to La Verkin to visit for a couple of days and just got back home today.  Everyone there is doing great and Evan and Rylee are going to keep Travis and Megan on their toes.  Baylee was visiting her dad and we got to see her for just a little while so we really missed her being with us, but next time.  Back to work tomorrow and a normal schedule.

Disney World 2011

This year my meetings were in Orlando so Jen and I packed up for a magical week at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort.  The hotel was huge and only of many on the property, buses took us everywhere.  When I wasn't in meetings we visited the Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, and Epcot, toward the end of the week it was getting hot and humid, but fun.  Jen in the above picture is in front of the Hogwartz train from Harry Potter, and then the dancing Disney Princesses in a show in front of Cinderlla's castle, it was great and we came home exhausted. 

Blessing Weekend

A wonderful weekend as our little girl was blessed.  She was so good during the blessing and was wide awake.  We had a luncheon afterward and it was busy with a large crowd and lots of food.  I hated to leave after, but we had to get back to Salt Lake for work.  I know all of our family that is no longer with us was present at that blessing the spirit was so strong and I really hated for the day to end. 

Happy Easter to all of our family and friends.  Hope each of you have a great and wonderful day remembering what our Savior did for us.  I know he lives and loves each and everyone of us, he gave us the greatest gift anyone could have ever given to anyone.  Enjoy this day and remember we love you all.

I am so tired of the wet cold weather that we have been having, it is beginning to get depressing.  I hope to see spring soon and maybe even summer.  I really feel we need a break in our weather so we can rejuvenate and smile again.  I know we need water to carry us through the summer, but we are way above normal.

Down south they are having good weather, the grass in the backyard is starting to grow and soon the children will be able to go outside and play.  I am looking forward to seeing that soon.

Hurry up spring

Kyle and I went to La Verkin this past weekend where the weather was fantastic.  However, coming home on Sunday we had you guessed it snow, hopefully spring will be here very soon.  I am so tired of cold weather and very ready for warm weather.  That is what it is like living in Utah during the spring.

A New Beginning

I have started a new blog so that we can have some privacy to protect the small children in our family and with all the weird people in the world we decided pictures of our little ones should not be here.  I will send pictures to family and friends via email when I get them and there will be pictures here but fun ones.
